Apologies, but for me, as a fan of music and as someone who is perhaps clinically obsessed with the music of Led Zeppelin this is pretty close to the greatest news I’ve had in a long time .
On December 10, 2007, Led Zeppelin reunited with Jason Bonham on drums to honor Ahmet Ertegun at the O2 Arena in London, England.
I didn’t get to go. The only time the greatest band in the world would reunite in my lifetime, and I missed it, because of a bullshit lottery system and ticket prices so insanely high you’d have to be make $80,000 and save up for a year to afford them.
I tried everything in my power to go, and couldn’t.
So, instead, I settled for getting my hands on every single unofficial recording source I could, giving me four video sources and over 15 audio sources (all audience, however).
And, now, I will finally be able to add the official release!!!!!!!!!!!!

As of right now, I’m beyond excited. I’ve already started saving for it. I’m looking to get the ultimate-special-release, or whatever they call it… what I’m hoping for is a box set with audio, DVD, Blu-Ray, DVD-A, vinyl, special features galore, the opening acts, and a t-shirt and other collectables.
I will buy it. Even though I’m poor.
Because Led Zeppelin completes me. The only thing that could be better than this is finding out that Led Zeppelin are reuniting (with Jason Bonham) for a new tour and album.
I shouldn’t get too excited about this. I imagine it will be overdubbed and fiddled with by Page so that it bears very little resemblence to the actual gig. Best to remember them as they were in their prime. Having said that, I did try desperately to get a ticket, (along with 18,000,000 others), but without success.
